NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk State sophomore Jennifer Chichester (Silver Spring, Md.) was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week, the league announced on Thursday. This is Chichester's fourth MEAC weekly honor this season.

Chichester won the individual title and set a new course record with a time of 17:59 at the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawk Challenge this past Saturday. The win marked the second straight week that she captured an individual title.

The Spartans are off until The MEAC Championships which will be held at UMES on Oct. 25.
