Noble Named MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Week

NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk State University sophomore left tackle Kendall Noble (Rocky Mount, N.C.) was named the MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Noble helped the Spartans (4-4, 3-3 MEAC) finish with a season-high 520 yards of total offense in the 41-6 win over Howard on Saturday. Noble graded out at 92 percent and had four “pancake” blocks in helping NSU rush for a season-high 294 yards and hit the 40-point mark for the third time this season.
This is the second time in Noble’s career that he has earned MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Week accolades. The previous one also came after a Spartans’ victory over Howard, in 2008.
