NORFOLK, Va. – Six Norfolk State University student-athletes have been recognized by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) as members of the 2010-11 academic all-state team.

To be recognized, the athletes must have been at least a sophomore in class standing during 2009-10, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 and must have been a starter or significant contributor to their respective team.

Below are the honorees, with their sport, 2010-11 classification, hometown and major listed:
