NORFOLK, Va. - Fans planning to attend Saturday's Howard-NSU football game at Dick Price Stadium should note that due to bridge maintenance, the east-bound lanes at the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel will be closed this weekend.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close the east-bound HRBT lanes at 9 p.m. Friday and will not reopen them until 5 a.m. Monday. Fans who live on the Peninsula or who travel through Hampton to get to Norfolk should take an alternate route to Saturday's game, which kicks off at 4 p.m. at Dick Price Stadium.

The southbound lanes at the James River Bridge in Newport News will also be closed during the same time period for maintenance. The James River Bridge closing is in effect for the next five weekends, and the HRBT closings will take place the next three weekends.
