2006: Emerged as one of NSU’s most versatile and valuable defensive backs… saw time at safety and cornerback…played in 10 games, starting seven…missed the game with Howard due to an ankle injury… made 27 total tackles, 18 solo…had four pass breakups and one interception…had four tackles and forced a fumble in the opener with Virginia State…intercepted a pass, broke up another and made a season-high seven tackles at Bethune-Cookman…had two solo tackles and two pass deflections in his first career start at cornerback in the season finale with Winston-Salem State.
2005: Saw the most action of any 2005 freshman on defense…played in every game and started the final 10 of the season…was fourth on the team with 62 tackles, 32 solo…was named MEAC Rookie of the Week after he forced a fumble, had his first career interception and made five tackles, one for a loss, in the season-ending win over Liberty…had seven pass breakups for the season…tied for sixth in the MEAC in fumble recoveries (two)…had nine tackles and recovered a fumble at FAMU…also had nine tackles against both North Carolina A&T and Delaware State.
High School: A two-year varsity player for Booker T. coach Larry Stepney, a former NSU player…was a second-team All-Eastern District pick as a senior, when he tied for the team-lead in interceptions, with eight…was also a successful receiver and kick returner for the Bookers…scored six total touchdowns as a senior, five on receptions and one on a punt return…had 23 receptions for the season, including two for touchdowns in an Eastern Region playoff game…had the second-highest GPA on the team and graduated with honors.
