2008 (Junior): Started all 12 games under center…passed for 1,542 yards and nine touchdowns while rushing for 466 yards and seven more scores…finished fourth in the MEAC in passing yards per game (128.5 yards per game) and total offense (2008 yards, 167.3 ypg)…set a new NSU single-season record for rushing yards by a quarterback…was second on the team in rushing TDs…passed for a touchdown on the opening drive of the season, hitting Sherron Childress for a 21-yard score…tossed a 22-yard TD to Dario Walker in the win over N.C. High School: Was named third-team all-state Class 6A and first-team All-Dade County as a senior, when he passed for 2,001 yards and 18 touchdowns…was voted team MVP…was also named MVP of the Dade-Broward County All-Star Game after running for the winning touchdown in the final minute of play…passed for more than 1,000 yards as a junior but missed much of the season due to injury…also lettered four years in track and field…advanced to the state meet in the long jump as a sophomore and was named track team MVP as a junior.
