Yolanda Roberts

Women's Volleyball

Roberts had a match-high 17 kills and a match-high-tying 15 digs in the Spartans’ 3-1 win over Hampton last Wednesday...in the last home match of her career, Roberts hit .345 and had one assist, while averaging 4.25 kills per set...she also averaged 3.25 digs per set in the win.

Don Carey

Football

Carey picked off two passes and returned the second one 94 yards for a touchdown in NSU's 35-9 win over Morgan State last week...it was the second two-interception of Carey's career...his first interception game on the goal line as the Bears' were going in for a first-half score...led a Spartan defense which forced a season-high seven turnovers.

NORFOLK, Va. - The 2008 Norfolk State University High School Track Invitational was a tremendous success on Saturday. It was the largest high school turnout for a meet at NSU's William "Dick" Price Stadium, with 61 teams and more than 900 athletes in attendance.
