Spartan Men Host N.C. A&T in MEAC Opener

NORFOLK, Va. - The NSU men's basketball team (1-6) will try to put an end to its five-game skid when it opens MEAC play this Saturday against North Carolina A&T at Echols Hall. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m., or 25 minutes after the conclusion of the NSU-N.C. A&T women’s game.
The Spartans dropped their fifth in a row on Wednesday in a 72-64 set-back at James Madison. North Carolina A&T also enters on a downslide, having lost three straight after a 74-73 loss at Lamar on Nov. 28.

NSU leads the all-time series with the Aggies 18-17. The teams split the two games last season, with each winning on its home court. NSU defeated the Aggies 74-61 in the last meeting, on March 5 in Echols Hall.
