NORFOLK, Va. — Single-game and season tickets for the 2009 Norfolk State University football season are on sale as of today, Monday, May 18.

NSU tickets are available for purchase through www.ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster channels. A convenience charge of $3.50 per ticket will be added for tickets purchased through Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets may also be purchased on campus at the NSU Ticket Office adjacent to Echols Hall. Summer hours for the NSU Ticket Office are 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Standard office hours (9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) resume Aug. 3.

Season tickets are $110 for reserved seating, $90 for general admission, and $70 for NSU faculty and staff. A four-game mini-season ticket package, consisting of tickets to the Virginia State, William & Mary, Hampton and Howard games, costs $60.

Single-game tickets are $20 reserved, $15 general admission and $5 for youth prior to game days. Game day tickets are $25 reserved, $20 general admission and $15 for military, senior citizens, faculty and staff. Youth tickets remain at $5.

Homecoming tickets for the Howard game on Oct. 31 are $30 reserved and $25 general admission.

NSU's home schedule this season features seven of the Spartans' 11 games in the confines of William “Dick” Price Stadium. Opponents include:
• Virginia State (Sept. 5, Virginia Lottery Labor Day Classic)
• William & Mary (Sept. 19)
• Bethune-Cookman (Sept. 26, Fish Bowl Classic)
• Defending MEAC champion South Carolina State (Oct. 10)
• Hampton (Oct. 17, State Farm Battle of the Bay)
• Howard (Oct. 31, Homecoming)
• Winston-Salem State (Nov. 21, Military Appreciation/Senior Day).
