Warren Retires as NSU's Tennis Coach

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State University men’s and women’s tennis coach Nathaniel Warren announced his retirement after 17 years as head coach.

Warren was responsible for starting up the men’s tennis program in the 1992-93 season and the women’s in 1994-95. He compiled a 402-216 combined record in his tenure.

Warren led the NSU women to two MEAC championship match appearances this decade. While in the CIAA, Warren’s men’s team captured the 1997 conference championship and won the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional title, advancing to the NCAA round of 16.
