NSU Signee Brown Wins AAU 800 Title

DES MOINES, IOWA – Norfolk State signee Vincent Brown (Peachtree City, Ga./McIntosh HS) won the national 800-meter title at the AAU Junior Olympics on Wednesday at Drake University.
Brown ran a time of 1:54.71 to take the title. Earlier this outdoor season, Brown won the Georgia Class AAAA state championship in a personal-best 1:53.20.
Brown will compete for the Spartans’ cross country team this fall and will help bolster NSU’s lineup in the 800 meters during track season.
