NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk State sophomore Aurora Scott (Portsmouth, Va.) was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week, the league announced on Wednesday.
Scott led the Spartans for the second straight week by finishing ninth overall at the William & Mary Colonial Inter-Regional Challenge (6K) in 22:15.4. As a team, NSU finished in fourth place.
The Spartans travel to Cary, N.C. this weekend to participate in the Great American Cross Country Festival.
