NORFOLK, Va. - The March 27 men's tennis match between NSU and North Carolina Central, originally a 4-3 Eagles' win, has been ruled a no contest by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

The Eagles were found to have submitted an illegal line-up per ITA line-up rule II.K.4 concerning line-up changes in back-to-back dual matches. Thus, the match will count as neither a win nor loss for either team, though the original singles and doubles results will remain valid for statistical purposes.

The Spartans' regular-season record now stands at 3-13 heading into this weekend's MEAC Championship.
