NORFOLK, Va. – Interim Head Coach Heidi Cavallo announced today that walk-on tryouts for the Norfolk State softball program will be held Sept. 17 at 3 p.m.

Tryouts will take place that Friday afternoon at the NSU Softball Field located on the southern part of campus, adjacent to the Marty L. Miller Baseball Field.

Those interested in trying out must pick up an information packet from Coach Cavallo Sept. 7-10 at the softball office located in the press box at the softball field. For more information about the tryout contact Cavallo at hdcavallo@nsu.edu or call 757-717-5855.

All students interested in trying out must have a current physical on file with the athletic training staff prior to the tryout date.
