NORFOLK, Va. – Wednesday's torrential rains altered the schedule for the 2012 MEAC Baseball Tournament, which means a change for Norfolk State's next game.

The Spartans (22-26), who defeated North Carolina A&T 4-3 on Wednesday morning, will now get Thursday off before playing a winner's bracket game at 9 a.m. Friday against Bethune-Cookman. The Wildcats, the No. 1 seed from the MEAC Southern Division, defeated Coppin State 10-4. That game began Wednesday afternoon, was suspended due to weather conditions and finished Thursday morning.
