2014 (Senior)
Started all 12 games and was an All-MEAC third-team selection … led NSU in tackles for the second straight year, with 107 total stops (51 solo, 56 assisted) … ranked third in the MEAC in tackles (8.9 per game) … also had 7.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble and two pass breakups … had five double-digit tackle efforts … started the season with eight tackles (two TFL and half a sack) at Maine … made nine tackles in consecutive games vs. Liberty and William & Mary … tallied 12 stops at Rutgers … made 10 tackles in consecutive games against Delaware State and Hampton … also had half a sack, a forced fumble and a pass deflection against DSU … had six tackles, one for loss, in the win at FAMU … was in on 12 tackles, 1.5 for loss, in the loss to Bethune-Cookman … tied his career high with 14 tackles, a season high, in the loss to N.C. 2012 (Sophomore)
Started nine of the 10 games in which he played … missed the North Carolina A&T game and came off the bench in his return vs. Savannah State due to a hand injury … finished third on the team and 30th in the MEAC in total tackles, with 58 (5.8 per game) … tied for the MEAC-lead with three forced fumbles … also had four tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, three pass deflections, one interception and one quarterback hurry … was credited with at least four tackles in every game he played, with a high of seven on three occasions … made six tackles, deflected a pass and returned a fumble 41 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of the win at Liberty … made seven tackles, one for a loss, against Howard … chipped in with six tackles (season-high five solos) at Ohio … made his first career interception and returned it 40 yards in the loss at South Carolina State … had five tackles, half a tackle for loss and one pass breakup against Delaware State … made six tackles, recovered a fumble and deflected another pass against Hampton … tied what was then his career high with seven tackles at Bethune-Cookman and repeated that feat two weeks later against Savannah State … also had a career-high 1.5 sacks against SSU … forced a fumble in his final three games of the season, against B-CU, SSU and Morgan State … teammates recovered the fumbles in the SSU and MSU games … named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the fall of 2012.
2011 (Freshman)
Played in 11 of the Spartans’ 12 games during his rookie season … missed only the Howard game (ankle sprain) … a key member of the special teams coverage units and a second-string inside linebacker … was in on 16 tackles for the year, seven of them solo … also recovered one fumble … had a season-high five tackles at Charleston Southern … made four tackles and returned a fumble 16 yards to set up an NSU touchdown in the win at Morgan State … was named the MEAC Rookie of the Week for his efforts in that game.
High School
Lettered four years in football and three in track … attended Wekiva High School his final three years and attended Lake Howell High School as a freshman … was a three-year starter at Wekiva … named to the All-Orange County and All-Metro Conference second teams as a senior after compiling 89 tackles and three sacks … also forced three fumbles, deflected three passes and recovered one fumble … helped Wekiva to its first winning season in school history (6-5) during his final year … was also a hurdler for the track team.
