Biography

2021 (Senior): Saw time in 34 games with 32 starts, all behind the plate … Had 20 hits for a .204 average … Drove in seven runs … Went 2-for-3 with an RBI at Longwood on March 14 … Also had two hits in a loss to FMAU on May 1… Had a season-high three hits in a 3-for-4 day in the regular-season finale against DSU … Scored a season-high three runs and went 1-for-4 in the MEAC championship win over NCCU … Threw out 12 would-be base stealers on the season.

2020 (Junior): Started 12 times (eight at third base, four at catcher) in 14 games played … Batted .274 (12-of-43) with four doubles, four runs batted in and four stolen bases … Saw time at third base and catcher … Went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs in the season opener against Wagner … Went 2-for-5 against both Albany and Morehead State … Had an RBI and a stolen base in the win over Old Dominion.

2019 (Sophomore): Started 49 of NSU’s 50 games and played in every one … Made 24 starts at shortstop and 25 at third base … Batted .223 with 21 RBI, 10 extra-base hits and nine stolen bases on the season … Was fourth on the team with eight doubles … Had nine games with at least two hits … Doubled twice in four at-bats in a loss to Quinnipiac … Drove in two runs in a 2-for-5 day against Savannah State … Followed that up the next game with three hits, including a triple and a stolen base in the win at Longwood … Was 2-for-6 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI in the middle game of the first MDES series … Stole two bases in the final game of that initial series with MDES … Opened the first Coppin State series with a 2-for-5 performance which includes two RBI and a double … Recorded a combined five hits in nine at-bats with five runs and four RBI in the first two games of the second series with MDES … Scored a season-high three runs and matched his season and career high with three hits in the middle of those games with MDES … Batted 2-for-4 with an RBI triple and a run-scoring double in the loss to VCU.

2018 (Redshirt): Redshirted due to injury … Member of the MEAC All-Academic Team … Member of the NSU AD’s Honor Roll for the fall semester.

2017 (Freshman): Started 18 times in the 24 games in which he played as a freshman … Had 14 hits in 68 at-bats … Doubled five times and drove in 13 runs … Started the year with a flourish, earning MEAC Rookie of the Week accolades following the opening weekend series sweep of Villanova … Went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the season-opener against the Wildcats … Recorded two more RBI and a season-high three hits (3-for-4) in game two of the series … Doubled, scored twice and drove in two in that game … Added a two-run double in the series finale against Villanova … Notched a 2-for-4 outing with two runs scored and an RBI in the win at Richmond … Had consecutive three-RBI games in games two and three of the March sweep of MDES … Was 1-for-4 with a double in each of those games while setting and then tying his season high in RBI … Made one relief pitching appearance, that coming in mid-April at DSU … Missed most of the last month of the season due to injury … Named to the NSU AD Honor Roll for the spring semester.

High School: Earned three varsity letters for Glen Allen … Batted .340 and was named to the All-Conference 20 second team as a second baseman during his senior year … Had a .991 fielding percentage that year … Led Glen Allen to the conference championship … Earned first-team All-State 4A, All-Region 4A South and all-conference honors as a junior … Helped Glen Allen capture the 2015 4A state championship by batting .450.
